Custom Fabrication - We have Master Seamstresses on our team that are trained in custom fabrication techniques taught at the Custom Home Furnishings (CHF) Academy.We fabricate draperies, fabric shades, duvet, coverlet, dust skirt, designer pillows, top treatments, table cloths, and much more.

Window Treatment Hardware - We provide quality selection of wood and iron hardware to finish your window treatment projects.

Design and Layout

As the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words". Whether you want to redesign the layout of your space, or update your window treatments and furnishings, we can help. We can design direct from your blueprints, photo's or even pictures from magazines. We help you make your decisions by taking away most of the guesswork.

Custom Fabrication

We are certified members of the Window Covering Association of America (WCAA) and fabricate all custom soft furnishings according to the WCAA standards. We have received specialized fabrication training at the Custom Home Furnishing (CHF) Academy and attend expos and conferences to continue our education and increase our skills.

Some helpful hints regarding color:

Changing your interior colors can change your outlook.

Light or pale colors can make rooms feel larger. They create a sense of openness - an impression that the space is larger than it actually is. This is one reason why whites are often used on ceilings: they make the ceiling appear higher.

Many dark colors can make a room appear smaller, providing the illusion of intimacy or coziness. These kinds of colors create a visual perception that the walls and ceilings are closer than they actually are. Dark colors are ideal for accenting architectural features, such as framing a window. If you have an impressive exterior view, framing the window with dramatic colors will "pull the eye" and help make the view a focal point in the room.

Cool or Warm?

Besides light and dark, colors are also classified as being warm or cool. Cool colors - like the blues, greens and grays found in nature are restful and calming. Warm colors - yellows, reds and browns - do the opposite. They are considered cheerful, sunny colors, making them good picks for rooms when a pleasant upbeat atmosphere is your goal.

Light and Color.

The type of artificial lighting in a room will affect the perception of the wall color. Here's a quick guide:

Incandescent lights cast warm yellow or amber tones that can intensify wall colors. Standard fluorescent fixtures bring out cool tones and green casts. Warm fluorescents, while not as rich as incandescent sources, add warm casts.

Halogen lighting is bright and white and distorts colors less than any other artificial light source. It does however, tend to cool colors a bit.
